I am super excited to share my project this week...I started with a hollow foam pumpkin from JoAnn stores, and cut a big window out of the front. I painted the inside with black acrylic paint, and used some mossy stuff from the floral arrangement section to line the bottom. I cut a hole in the bottom of the pumpkin towards the back, so I was able to feed a string of tiny battery-operated lights into the pumpkin and cover it up with the mossy bottom. I stamped all of the images from the "Scare Crows" and "Pumpkin Faces" stamp sets onto Alabaster cardstock, and colored them with copic markers. I cut them all out and ran a black marker around the edges of each image. I then broke toothpicks in half and glued them to the backs of the images with the pointed end facing down. They stuck very easily into the foam! I arranged the images in the scene and then fed the string of lights through the hole and around the inside of the pumpkin. I glued plastic spiders around the oustide of the opening as well! I really love how the project came out.
