Hi crafty friends! Thanks for joining me today. The theme for this week's Brutus Monroe inspiration team blog hop is "Monochrome". So we had to create projects using one color! I chose to use the Midnight cardstock, and the floral stamp from the "Conservatory of Quotes" stamp set. I stamped the floral image around the edges of the cardstock in embossing ink, and heat embossed them with Icicle (clear) embossing powder. When heat set, it almost looked black! Then I die cut the "Hello" five times, also from midnight cardstock, and adhered them together with glue. I used the eclipse technique, where I also die cut it from the center of the card and inlaid the thick layered word, but because the cardstock is the same color, I realized that I could have skipped this and just glued it to the center of the card panel! I popped the whole panel up on a slightly larger piece of Midnight cardstock, and finished it off with some clear acrylic drops. Have you ...
