Hello crafty friends! Thanks for stopping by my blog today. The Brutus Monroe inspiration team is hopping today with these cool Fabulous Fibers. These are super unique, and I haven't any other products like this that are marketed towards paper crafting! Our team has created some really neat projects with these fibers. The feel like tinsel, and they have a really pretty iridescent shine to them. The "Wallpaper" stencil makes me think of the roaring 20's, since it has an Art Deco vibe, so I decided to turn the fibers into a flapper-style fringe! I started out by stenciling the glitter glaze of the month, which is called "Carnation", onto a piece of Alabaster cardstock. I can't wait to do more with this stencil because it's so beautiful! I set it aside to dry and stamped the sentiment in Raven detail ink. I fussy cut around the edge and backed it with foam tape. Hello crafty friends! Thanks for stopping by my blog today. It's another blog hop Wednesday for the Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team, and the theme is "Anything Goes"! Once a month our hop has no theme or specific product that we're showing. Today I'm sharing this sparkly gold fall card! I started by using the Glitter Glaze of the month from September, called "Leaf Pile". It's hard to accurately capture the color on camera! It's a GORGEOUS golden color with tiny flecks of red and green. I used it with the Stencil of the Month from September onto a panel of Alabaster cardstock and set it aside to dry. I heat embossing the wreath from the "Fall Y'all" stamp set onto aqua pigment paper with Gilded EP. I used a water brush and color burst powders to color the images in fall tones. Hello crafty friends! Thanks for joining me today! It's another blog hop Wednesday for the Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team, and we're using some of the October subscription products. For my card, I used the October stamp set, which is the hilarious fake vampire teeth stamp that comes with the "Trick or Treat" sentiment. For the background, I used a piece of glossy cardstock, and two of the new colors of surface spray, Cabbage and Aubergine. I covered the background in Cabbage first and dried it with my heat tool, and then sprayed some Aubergine through on of the older stencil club stencils. I heat embossed the stamp with purple Night Shift embossing powder, and heat embossed the sentiment with Alabaster EP onto Raven cardstock. I used two of the Halloween chipboard borders, Spider Webs and Skulls and I cut two of them off each strip. The Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team is showing projects today with some of the subscription items for the month of September! I used the stamp set from the Inspiration box, the stamp of the month and the embossing powder of the month to make this card. I started with a panel of Aqua Pigment paper, and heat embossed all of the different leaves and fall elements from the inspiration box stamp set with Gilded EP. I used a water brush and color burst powders to color all the images and left them to dry.  I heat embossed the stamp of the month onto aqua pigment paper as well, only so that the tone would match the white space in the background. I used the EP of the month called Fallen Leaves, which is a beautiful maroon/burgundy color. It's fantastic for fall, and I've never seen a similar color! Hello crafty friends! Thanks for stopping by today! It's Wednesday which means blog hop day for the Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team. This week we are showcasing different subscription items for the month of June. I chose to use the stamp of the month and the stencil of the month, and the sentiment from the inspiration box. I hope it doesn't make you too dizzy! For this card, I started with a panel of Alabaster cardstock and I used the stencil of the month with Raven ink over the top to make the background. Then I die cut the frame from Raven cardstock and lined it with foam tape. I heat embossed the cassette tape 8 times onto Raven cardstock with Alabaster powder. After fussy cutting around the shapes, I arranged them around the edges of the frame, leaving some hanging over the side. I secured them with pieces of foam tape, and then trimmed the parts that were hanging off the edge. I used the trimmed off pieces to fill in some of the spaces around the frame and glued ...

Hi crafty friends! Thanks for joining me today. It's Wednesday, which means blog hop day for the Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team. This week we're sharing projects with some subscription products for May. I'm using the stencil of the month which is absolutely gorgeous!  I tinted some fallen snow with Green and Blue neon aqua pigments, and mixed some together to create a turquoise transitional shade. They still react with blacklight, but they are somewhat toned down when they are mixed with the glaze. I mixed some Blue and Green neon aqua pigments together to make the turquoise shade and painted a scrap piece of aqua pigment paper. I heat embossed the sentiment in white, and die cut it with one of the hexagon nesting dies. I cut the next size up hexagon out of Alabaster cardstock and layered them together, slightly turned for more interest. Hi crafty friends, thanks for stopping by! Today the Brutus Monroe inspiration team is blog hopping with some of the subscription products for March. My project used the stencil of the month, glitter glaze of the month and the stamp of the month! For my card I started with a panel of Alabaster cardstock and used the stencil of the month with the Glitter Glaze of the month, a shade called "Sparkling Coral". True to its name, it is a gorgeous sparkly coral color, perfect for spring or summer! While the background dried, I stamped the tulips from the stamp of the month with Raven detail ink, and colored them with Zig clean color real brush markers, and I blended them with a sparkle pen. I fussy-cut the tulips and set them aside. I used the Raven detail ink again to stamp the sentiment onto Alabaster cardtock and trimmed it into a long banner shape I die cut the curved shape from a piece of Alabaster cardstock and used foam tape to pop it up on the bottom of the glitte...
