Brutus Monroe Hop - January 2020 Subscription Items

Image
Hello crafty friends! Now that the dust has settled after the Christmas whirlwind, are you back to regular life again? The holidays always leave me feeling like I've forgotten how to function on a regular schedule! Today for the Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team blog hop we're showing some of the January subscription products. I chose to make this card using the die of the month! Thanks to a random conversation I had with my sweet friend Ann Corbiere-Scott, who is a talented stamp designer, I got looking at "Fault-line" cakes on instagram. I got lost down a spiral of pretty cake decorating videos, and now I've got them on the brain! They're gorgeous, and meant to look like two sides cracked in half with something cool inside (on the cakes, typically a pretty sprinkle mix!). So I decided to make a fault-line style card! I used the die of the month with some teal cardstock, and adhered it to a piece of Alabaster cardstock. I took another piece of Alabaster car...

Brutus Monroe Stamp of the Month - November

Image
Hey crafty friends! I'm here today sharing a card with the hilarious stamp from the Stamp of the Month Club from Brutus Monroe. This protesting turkey cracks me up! The  stamp of the month club  is really cool;  you will receive a 2x3 stamp set for only $5 which includes your shipping and handling! The stamp set is designed each month by Christopher and will be shipped out to you by the 15th of the month (excluding holidays, in the event of a holiday falling on shipment day the stamp will ship on the next business day) This card background is made with one of the free stencil SVG files on the Brutus Monroe website. To make the stencil, I laminated a piece of plain white printer paper and then used my Cricut to cut the leaf stencil out. It worked perfectly! I used glitter glaze in the colors "Gilded", "Pumpkin" and "Tangerine" on the stencil to make the background. The Berry Twig Leaf die  was cut from several shades of brown cardstock, and layer...

Hello crafty friends! Thanks for stopping by. The design team hop this week is showcasing embossing powder! My project today uses the gorgeous Brutus Monroe embossing powders in the shades "Penny" and "Coffee Grounds". Coffee grounds is part of the Embossing Powder of the Month Club . If you sign up for the Embossing Powder club, you will receive a unique, limited edition powder once each month. IF there are any powders left over from the subscriptions, they will be sold in store until gone. Also, everyone that SUBSCRIBES to ANY of the subscriptions (Stamp Club, Inspiration Box, EP), will also receive 15% off on every in store purchase at any time. This is ONLY if you subscribe! Coffee grounds is this deep, rich brown color that really does resemble coffee grounds! I opened it and automatically took a sniff because it looked like the real deal! I decided to use it with their Penny embossing powder , which is a stunning, shiny coppery shade. The metallic ...
