Brutus Monroe Blog Hop - Anything Goes October 2019
Hello crafty friends! Thanks for stopping by my blog today. It's another blog hop Wednesday for the Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team, and the theme is "Anything Goes"! Once a month our hop has no theme or specific product that we're showing. Today I'm sharing this sparkly gold fall card!
I started by using the Glitter Glaze of the month from September, called "Leaf Pile". It's hard to accurately capture the color on camera! It's a GORGEOUS golden color with tiny flecks of red and green. I used it with the Stencil of the Month from September onto a panel of Alabaster cardstock and set it aside to dry.
I heat embossing the wreath from the "Fall Y'all" stamp set onto aqua pigment paper with Gilded EP. I used a water brush and color burst powders to color the images in fall tones. After it was dry, I heat embossed the sentiment into the middle, also with Gilded EP. I trimmed down the colored panel to a square, and adhered it to the glitter glaze panel, and matted the whole thing on a slightly larger white card base.
