Hello crafty friends! It's another Wednesday blog hop day for the Brutus Monroe inspiration team and I'm sharing this project made with the stamp set from the June inspiration box! I have been super inspired by the cards that our guest designer Tessa Reed made; she used a lot of black and white and it was so striking! I started with a scrap of black woodgrain paper that I used as the background of this card. I used some of the new media paste through a stencil on various areas of the paper and allowed it to dry. While it was drying, I stamped the guitar,  record and words onto a piece of Alabaster cardstock with Raven detail ink, and fussy cut them all out. When the media paste was dry, I adhered all of the fussy cut pieces with foam tape. I filled in the empty areas with a few of the music note stamps, stamped with the Raven detail ink. Hello crafty friends! It was an exciting weekend for Brutus Monroe, as they released 21 new stamp sets! Yes, you read that right, 21 NEW SETS! To celebrate the release, there was a 24-hour live craftathon on the Brutus Monroe facebook page! It was so much fun to see all of the team members sharing different ways to use some of these fabulous new sets. It was a new experience for me as well, as I have never really done live streaming videos before. A huge shoutout to everyone who watched - thank you so much for your love and support! We had a great group of viewers who were supportive, encouraging and super fun to interact with. For this post, I'm sharing the project from my live stream with the new "So Emotional" stamp set. These cute little emoji shapes would make a great card, but I decided to go a different route! I made planner accessories and homemade stickers. Hello crafty friends! Thanks for stopping by today! It's Wednesday which means blog hop day for the Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team. This week we are showcasing different subscription items for the month of June. I chose to use the stamp of the month and the stencil of the month, and the sentiment from the inspiration box. I hope it doesn't make you too dizzy! For this card, I started with a panel of Alabaster cardstock and I used the stencil of the month with Raven ink over the top to make the background. Then I die cut the frame from Raven cardstock and lined it with foam tape. I heat embossed the cassette tape 8 times onto Raven cardstock with Alabaster powder. After fussy cutting around the shapes, I arranged them around the edges of the frame, leaving some hanging over the side. I secured them with pieces of foam tape, and then trimmed the parts that were hanging off the edge. I used the trimmed off pieces to fill in some of the spaces around the frame and glued

Hello crafty friends! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Today the Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team has a fun hop for you, celebrating some new paper packs that the company has released! I love this hop because I am constantly amazed by the amount of things you can do with just some paper and adhesive! I started out by making cards with some of these new papers, but then decided I wanted to go beyond that. I love making little treat boxes for friends and coworkers and family, especially during the holidays or birthdays. If I'm giving someone a gift card, I enjoy presenting it in a homemade card and with a handmade treat box with their favorite candy, so that the gift is more personal. I followed several tutorials from one of my favorite YouTube papercrafters, Sam Hammond and her channel Pootles Papercrafts.
