Brutus Monroe Hop - Glitter Drops

Hello crafty friends! Thanks for stopping by today. This week the Brutus Monroe inspiration team is showcasing glitter drops.

Glitter drops come in a squeeze bottle, and can be applied in a variety of different ways. Although they come out of the bottle with a dull paste consistency, they dry to a shiny, sparkly finish. The other team members have come up with some really clever ways to use the glitter drops! They can be applied directly to the project in dot form, they can be stenciled, they can be swiped, and they can even be applied to wax paper and then peeled up to use like enamel dots or shapes. Marie did a fantastic live video using fairy shapes that she made from the glitter drops. They are currently offered in 4 colors - red, green, gold and silver. For my project, I chose to use the silver glitter drops.

I filled round metal jewelry bezels, two that were pendants and the rest plain, to turn into magnets. Glitter drops typically dry quickly, but as they were full, I left them overnight to dry. The next day, I used alcohol markers to color a gradient on each one, and then glued a glass dome over the top to finish it off. They are so sparkly! Have you tried the glitter drops yet? Post your projects on social media, and don't forget to use the hashtags #BrutusMonroe and #CreateYourOwnEnding so we can see what you make! Next, hop on over to Luisana's blog to see her gorgeous project.
